The Success Of Our Maiden Medical And Welfare Outreach

This Was How We Celebrated The Holidays

On Monday, we held our maiden medical and welfare outreach. It was an outstanding success.

Initially, I thought this project was for next year, but I kept feeling an internal nudge to start it this year.

All efforts to put aside the thought proved abortive, and I succumbed to the idea and shared it with the team. Surprisingly, they also agreed, and the support we got was amazing.

Despite the news of stampedes in areas where relief materials were shared, we were not deterred and continued plans and ensured we informed relevant authorities and law enforcement bodies in the area.

The event went smoothly. We had enough volunteers on the ground, and within 3 to 4 hours, we were done with both the community medical outreach and the sharing of relief materials with those who came around.

During the community medical and welfare outreach, we shared items like rice, oil, and other consumables and dispensed regular OTC medications to those in need.

I want to thank the outreach team, volunteers, our friends, sponsors, and partners for their contribution and support in making the outreach successful.

Next year, we’re going to do it bigger and better and impact more lives.

Outreach And Community Engagement Has Always Been A Big Part Of Our Mission

Medical And Welfare Outreach

As a person, I have always loved outreaches.

I see reaching out to people to help them as one of the biggest achievements in life.

So, when the idea for Care City (officially Care City Media Ltd) came, I was quick to infuse the element of outreach into the vision and mission from day one.

The “Hold My Hands” is our yearly signature outreach responsibility/endeavour as a brand, and we will be holding it every year in different forms and variations.

The primary focus is to reach out to our communities, targetting vulnerable populations like children, older adults, people living with disabilities, and any population that comes under the vulnerable people’s roof with care, love, and hope.

We also want to inspire communities to live healthy lives, utilising the resources they have at their disposal to create healthy communities for themselves. In so doing, we aim to attract the government’s attention (and other empowered entities) to those communities to help them provide the necessary social amenities to keep the community healthy and safe.

A few years back, we didn’t have the resources to attempt an outreach.

We didn’t have a dedicated team as we do now, nor did we have the technical knowledge and, most importantly, the financial resources.

But today, we’ve been able to do something significant. It may not be massive, but it shows us there’s potential and room for much more.

Next year, we will collaborate and partner with individuals, brands, and organisations that share our mission of holding the hands of people who need help and impacting communities with their resources, knowledge and influence.

Plans for next year’s outreach are already underway.

If you would love to participate, you can send us an email at [email protected] stating how you would like to do so, either as a volunteer, sponsor, or partner.

Here are some images from the outreach for you to enjoy. Read the official report here.

Enjoy the holidays, my friends, and big cheers to a world where we are all inspired to do more.
