We’re all wired differently.
It’s just natural.
We’ve different strengths, abilities, experiences, perspectives and general outlook on life.
This uniqueness is what makes it possible for all of us to work, live, and exist together like a great jigsaw puzzle, with different unique patterns coming together to form one big picture.
Imagine if we all looked the same, talked the same, and had the same experiences, abilities, strengths and perspectives; it would be absolutely impossible for life itself even to exist.
It won’t just be boring.
It would lack taste and diversity, and we will never be able to achieve anything, really.
A Building Is Not Only Made Up Of Blocks
It’s impossible to build with only blocks.
What makes a building stand is that different kinds of materials come together to form a structure. Suppose it were all just blocks, with no cement, mortar, wood, iron, etc.
Your thoughts are as good as mine.
Diversity gives the world colour and makes it possible for the world to exist.
The world is like a gigantic puzzle, and everyone has a special spot where they fit perfectly.
Why did I go through all the stress to write all that?
So that we understand that people are different and that when it comes to choosing what we do with our lives, there are diverse paths for everybody.
You need to know what you’re made for and grow in your path.
We can draw inspiration from those who have come before us and whom we admire; we can be motivated by their work and lives.
However, one thing we must be sure of is that we are getting inspired by the right person or people.
For example. Someone naturally built to, let’s say, be an athlete. If they continue to listen to, copy, learn from and admire professors, they may never become athletes.
Or someone built to be a professor, admiring and drawing inspiration from Usain Bolt or Mike Tyson.
I am not saying a professor can’t become an athlete or an athlete a professor.
I believe you understand what I’m trying to say.
Look for your tribe and follow them.
We’ll have that inbuilt configuration that fits perfectly into a particular aspect of life. Finding your space and growing in it is what defines purpose and success in life.
Most of the time, we can recognise ourselves early on, even as little kids.
There are inner witnesses, biology, and environmental factors that come together to mould us into what we are meant to become in life.
If we learn to listen carefully, we will always never miss it.
We Are Not All Built For Entrepreneurship

I believe that there are people who may have the entrepreneurship gene.
You see, when entrepreneurship is mentioned, people think it’s all about starting a business and making enough money to survive.
Well, that may be part of it, but it’s not even close to 1%.
I tell you.
Entrepreneurship is a philosophy of life.
It’s all about how we can change the world with our ideas.
The entrepreneur is not just only thinking about how to fill their pocket with money.
Their biggest thought is how to change people’s lives with their ideas, and naturally, when you solve problems and add value to people’s lives, part of the reward is money. The bigger the problem you solve, the greater the monetary reward you get.
Most people actually live for themselves (they don’t care about anybody).
The only few who dare to think beyond themselves are the entrepreneurs—the innovators.
So, ask yourself. Are you living for yourself?
That’s part of how we know what material you are made of.
How Entrepreneurs Think
I have already mentioned in the above section.
Entrepreneurs think differently. Very differently.
True entrepreneurship is deeply about making people’s lives better.
It’s about bringing value.
The bigger the value you bring, the greater the reward.
Money is a by-product of entrepreneurship.
Sadly, most so-called entrepreneurs are busy chasing money while forgetting the foundational principles of entrepreneurship.
Entrepreneurs, true entrepreneurs, think more about the people, the product, and the solution.
They are not obsessed with how much they make.
It’s just natural. If you solve a problem well and continually improve on that solution as people’s needs change and culture evolves, you’ll always be at the top of the game; in other words, if you can keep innovating, you’ll never go out of business.
Can You Evolve?
Yes, we can if we are flexible enough.
Most people discover their special abilities in life when they get older.
Most people become entrepreneurs in their later years.
You see, it all depends on several factors, which we will discuss next Thursday.
And for healthcare professionals who want to understand the entrepreneurial pathway.
You must realise that healthcare entrepreneurship is somewhat different from conventional entrepreneurship.
You can’t just jump right into it because you feel like you have a passion for it.
In healthcare entrepreneurship, I think more time is needed to grow, especially depending on the path you’re taking.
Most pathways require more extended maturity periods than others.
For example, suppose you want to venture into direct patient-facing entrepreneurship.
In that case, you’ll likely need more time to mature compared to someone who wants to pursue a path in supplies, support, content, or technology.
I’ll be writing in depth about it next Thursday.
