Dr Akingbade Oluwadamilare
This “celebration news” is really special and personal for us at Care City.
Dr Akingbade has been a phenomenal leader and mentor. And his leadership style at the Institute of Nursing Research, Nigeria, has been inspiring, exemplary and worthy of emulation over the years.
He has shown the healthcare community in Nigeria and Africa again and again that he’s a force to reckon with–reflected in his many laudable academic, leadership and personal achievements.
And his support for the work we do at Care City & Carecode Digital Health Hub has played a significant role in keeping the team going.
We are excited because we know what he’s capable of doing, and we rest assured that he will rightly represent the younger generation of nursing and healthcare scholars in the top academic echelons globally.
A few weeks back, he was certified by The International Council Of Nurses As A Global Nurse Consultant, a leadership feat we were all extremely excited about.
The nursing profession needs more leaders at the top who will sit down and dialogue over important matters of professional development and policy implementation that will benefit the nursing community [especially in Nigeria and Africa]. We need more of them up there. And seeing Dr Akingbade flying this high is a welcoming comfort to many of us advocating for change and reformation.
From all of us at Care City & Carecode Digital Health Hub, we congratulate Dr Akingbade Oluwadamilare and pray that he will have many, many more achievements to celebrate [this is just the beginning].
His success has undoubtedly ignited fires in the hearts of many young nurses and healthcare professionals in Africa that it’s possible to fly high.
